Final Fantasy 14 offers players a journey with amazing characters, throughout which it's necessary to face several challenging encounters in dungeons or amazing trials. These duties are a part of the main story, and make the game even more fun to play - but they're not the only dungeons available.
The MMO presents several other encounters that are entirely optional and must be unlocked. Every expansion adds new optional dungeons, allowing all players (even those enjoying the game through its Free Trial) to experience other encounters that often make the world richer with its environments or nods to the story and lore as a whole. Final Fantasy 14: Ishgardian Restoration Guide
Earn exclusive rewards while leveling your crafters and gatherers with the Ishgard Restoration!
Although some dungeons have names that suggest they are more difficult versions of previously unlocked dungeons, that isn't the case. All dungeons are on the same level of difficulty as the main story, even those that are "hard" versions of previously completed dungeons.
Where To Unlock All A Realm Reborn Optional Dungeons
Halatali
Level: 20
Requirements: Completing the level 19 Main Scenario Quest "Dressed to Deceive".
Unlock quest: "Hallo Halatali", picked up with Nedrick Ironheart (X: 12.0, Y: 14.3) in Western Thanalan. Teleport to Horizon or use an aetheryte ticket to Vesper Bay to get to him faster (he is to the left of the staircase leading to the entrance to the Waking Sands).
The Sunken Temple of Qarn
