Easter has returned to Eorzea once again with its annual Hatching-tide seasonal event, which brings special quests to do and a unique accessory reward for everyone who participates.

How to Unlock 2025 Hatching-tide Event in FFXIV
Like many other seasonal events in Final Fantasy XIV, this iteration of Hatching-tide is very accessible with little required in order to unlock it. Simply have any job on your character at a minimum of Level 15. While combat jobs are usually the norm for these activities, this can apply to crafting and gathering jobs as well.
How to Complete 2025 Hatching-tide Event in FFXIV
Virtually all seasonal events in Final Fantasy 14 kick off with a special quest, typically found in one of the game's three major cities.
In the case of the 2025 Hatching-tide event, you'll need to head to Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania. Once there, look for an NPC named Jihli Aliapoh at (X:10.2, Y:9.4), who serves as your starting point. Speak to her to pick up the 'In Pursuit of Eggcellence' Level 15 quest.
Follow the quest's objectives by first going to speak to the Burly Merchant at the market area in Old Gridania. Next, go and speak to Geva at the Leatherworkers' Guild (X:12.6, Y:7.9) in the same area. Then, head to the Carpenter's Guild (X:10.3, Y:12.3) over in New Gridania and speak to its guildmaster named Beatin. Give him the assorted timber and then leave to find Nonotta standing near Maisenta's Black Rabbit Traders stall (X:11.4, Y:11.3).
Now return to Jihli Aliapoh at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre to turn in the quest. She'll follow up with one more quest called 'Eggceeding Expectations', so pick it up. Have Jihli accompany you back to the market area in Old Gridania and speak to the three marked NPCs there about the idea of egg-shaped parasols for the celebration. Once done, speak to Jihli one-on-one at the entrance to the market.
Finally, return one last time to Mih Ketto's Amphitheatre and finish the quest with Jihli to receive a special reward for your efforts.
All 2025 Hatching-tide Event Rewards in FFXIV
Upon completing the 'Eggceeding Expectations' quest, you'll get the Archon egg parasol fashion accessory for your character, which you can unlock with the consumable item sent to your inventory. 'Use' it and your new parasol will become available to use via your 'Fashion Accessories' menu.
Also, the 'Dreamer' vendor NPC standing near Jihli at Mih Ketto's Amphitheatre (X:10.2, Y:9.1) will also have Hatching-tide Magicked Prism consumables available for purchase for 19 gil each.
The 2025 Hatching-tide event is currently available for players to partake in until April 24 at 7:59am (PDT), so if you enjoy collecting fashion accessories, make sure not to miss out on this one.
