Final Fantasy 14 uses customization as a means to immerse players in its world and story, allowing each version of the Warrior of Light to be unique. Outfits are part of that through the glamour function, but it all starts with character creation and decisions like which of the playable races to pick, or what hairstyle to choose from.
While some of those aspects can only be changed through the use of Fantasia, the Aesthetician lets players change their hair and other simpler details much more readily. This shows how important hairstyles (and changes) can be when customizing a character, and the game offers many options in that sense. On top of the hairstyles initially available, FF14 has unlockable options like the Modern Aesthetics - It Takes Two hairstyle added in Dawntrail.

Farming Megamaguey Pineapple, a new ingredients in Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail, isn't for the faint of heart. Here's how to speed the process up.
How To Unlock Modern Aesthetics It Takes Two In FF14
The Modern Aesthetics - It Takes Two hairstyle was added to Final Fantasy 14 with the release of Dawntrail. Currently, there is only one method to unlock this new hair option, and it greatly relies on luck, which can make the process frustrating for players.
To get the It Takes Two hairstyle, players will need to participate in treasure hunts. For those who do not know how this activity works, this guide on Final Fantasy 14's treasure hunts can be useful to understand the concept and the necessary steps better. Knowing that, the player will need to acquire a Timeworn Br'aaxskin Map, that can be found by gatherers in Dawntrail's level 100 fishing, mining, logging, or harvesting points. Alternatively, the map can be chosen as the reward for getting nine seals when completing Wondrous Tails, or it can be bought from the Market Board for gil.
This map is recommended for a level 100 full party, which means the game suggests a group of eight players should be gathered to face the enemies along the way. Some players can get to the treasures alone or with one other player with some effort and depending on their job. Portals can make completing this type of content alone a lot harder, but it isn't necessary to enter portals for the hairstyle to drop.
Modern Aesthetics - It Takes Two is readily available as part of the possible loot for this type of treasure map, so after deciphering it, digging, and facing enemies, the player will have a chance to find the hairstyle as a reward. It should be noted that this is only one of the possible loot options, which means getting the hair option will require some luck.
How To Buy Modern Aesthetics It Takes Two In FF14
Those who don't want to rely on luck or are having trouble getting the hairstyle to drop have an alternate means to get the It Takes Two hairstyle. As is the case with many other hair options, the item used to unlock it is marketable, so players who succeed in getting the hair option as loot can sell it on the Market Board.
Because this hairstyle was added to Final Fantasy 14 with Dawntrail's launch, players will be able to find some people selling it, but its newness and the luck factor to get it made it very expensive in some servers. While the prices can vary greatly, it can be found on North America servers for prices around 8 million gil. As a result, players planning on buying this hair option on the Market Board might want to consider farming gil to be able to do so.
