Among the many adventures to be had in Final Fantasy 14's vibrant world of Eorzea, there are also plenty of special events to enjoy and take part in throughout the year. While some of these events are short and sweet, others feature various activities and objectives that can lead to one-of-a-kind rewards for your character.

As it turns out, the Make it Rain Campaign is back in full swing in Final Fantasy 14, and you'll want to swing by the Gold Saucer for some great opportunities to hit the jackpot.

There are positively astronomical rewards to be had in Final Fantasy 14's Cosmic Exploration. Here's a rundown on how to get them.

How to Start the 2025 Make it Rain Campaign Quest in Final Fantasy 14

The Make it Rain Campaign is an annual event in Final Fantasy 14 that traditionally focuses on special activities at the Manderville Gold Saucer. To kick off this year's iteration of the event, however, you'll first want to head to its home city of Ul'dah.

Teleport to the respective main aetheryte and then look for the Ebullient Citizen NPC standing at (X:9.4, Y:9.1) straight ahead and across the main concourse. Speak to them to pick up the Level 15 'Royal Rumblings' seasonal quest. Note that if you don't see this quest or its NPC on your map, if you haven't done so already, you'll need to complete one of the following Level 15 pre-requisite quests for it to become available:

  • The Gridanian Envoy - Available from Kan-E-Senna in Old Gridania at Lotus Stand (X:6.2, Y:6.1)
  • The Ul'dahn Envoy - Available from Raubahn in Ul'dah - The Steps of Nald at (X:8.4, Y:8.9)
  • The Lominsan Envoy - Available from Merlwyb in Limsa Lominsa at Command Room (X:3.5, Y:3.4)

The first objective for 'Royal Rumblings' will send you to the Gold Saucer, where you'll need to find Ollier at (X:4.5, Y:7.0) in Entrance Square, near the Triple Triad Tournament area. Speak to him, and a befuddled "King Elmer III" will ensue.

Next, go gather information from three different NPCs in Wonder Square, then go back to Ollier at (X:5.8, Y:5.9) near the main aetheryte. Speak to him, and when asked to pick one of two dialogue options in response to the "What will you say?" Prompt, pick either one.

Next, head to Event Square and look for the vantage point (X:8.2, Y:5.1) up on the second floor, left of the Jumbo Cactpot drawing counter. Interact with it and wait for a cutscene to start. After it ends, go over to the 'Dropped Card' on the floor nearby and pick it up. Return to Ollier down on the first floor at (X:6.8, Y:4.9) and return the card to him.

After the next cutscene, return to Entrance Square and wait at the 'designated location' at (X:4.7, Y:6.9). Yet another cutscene will play out, and once the final confrontation is over, speak to Ollier one last time to conclude the quest.

All 2025 Make it Rain Campaign Rewards in Final Fantasy 14

The main rewards for the Make It Rain 2025 Campaign come from completing the Royal Rumblings quest in the Gold Saucer. The NPC named Ollier will give you the King Elmer III Triple Triad Card (4-Star) and the hilarious Overreact emote for your efforts.

The Triple Triad Card will be sent to your inventory, where you'll need to "use" it to officially add it to your collection. Remember that you can view your claimed Triple Triad Cards anytime via the 'Gold Saucer' option near the bottom of the 'Character' drop-down menu. Meanwhile, the Overreact emote is made immediately available for your character via your Emotes menu in the 'Social' tab. There's no need to "use" it via a consumable item in your inventory.

On top of that, you can claim rewards from previous iterations of the event for a reduced cost via the Campaign Attendant NPC in Entrance Square at (X:5.4, Y:6.3).

Alongside those tangible rewards, as it's done in previous years, the Make it Rain Campaign features a passive 50% buff to all MGP rewards earned inside the Gold Saucer. This applies to activities such as the daily Mini-Cactpot drawing and GATE instances. If there was ever a time to farm copious amounts of MGP for future prize purchases, this event is the time to do it.

How Long Will the 2025 Make it Rain Campaign in Final Fantasy 14 Last?

As with other events in Final Fantasy 14, the Make it Rain Campaign will be around for a limited period of time in-game, so it's important to take advantage of its MGP-related bonuses and item rewards while they are available.

This year's version of the Make it Rain Campaign lasts for just over three weeks, from Monday, May 19th until June 11, 2025. Once the event concludes, the passive MGP bonus will end, and the respective quest that provides the emote and Triple Triad card rewards will no longer be available. The MGP discount on certain items from the Campaign Attendant will also go back to their original prices.
