Cosmic Exploration in Final Fantasy 14 brings with it not only plenty of space-faring activities for players to enjoy and work towards, but also a multitude of cosmic rewards to earn for those efforts. As the initiative expands further into the stars in future patches, those rewards will only increase.
If you're new to Cosmic Exploration in Final Fantasy 14 and aren't sure what all those rewards entail, here's a rundown on what they are and how you can unlock them, allowing you to do so with ease.
Final Fantasy 14: How to Get Pose of the Unbound Emote
Here is how to get one of the most eccentric emotes in all of Final Fantasy 14, which is being hailed for its undeniable Jojo flair.
How to Earn Cosmic Exploration Rewards in Final Fantasy 14
Cosmic Exploration rewards can be earned in a number of different ways, incentivizing Final Fantasy 14 players to pursue all activities and features that the content has to offer. Once you unlock Cosmic Exploration, you can start earning them pretty quickly.
One primary method is by exchanging special currencies specific to Cosmic Exploration. Completing missions of all types grants varying amounts of Cosmocredits and Lunar Credits, which you can then exchange with Mesouaidonque at the Credit Exchange (X:21.8, Y:21.8) for certain items.
Other methods mainly come down to chance and consistent attempts. Cosmic Fortunes require you to exchange Lunar Credits for a chance to win exclusive rewards, and those rewards range from significantly valuable ones like the Vacuum Suit mount to more common items like materia and cordials. Otherwise, you can also push for the chance to pilot a mech during a Mech Ops mission, and if you're selected, you get a chance to win the mount once the mission is successfully completed.
Finally, there are achievement-based rewards such as titles and an exceptionally rare version of the Vacuum Suit mount. Earning those comes down to time and effort.
All Cosmic Exploration Rewards in Final Fantasy 14
Cosmic Exploration features a significant variety of rewards for players to obtain during their adventures on the moon, from mounts to emotes, space-style glamours, and more. While some rewards can be challenging to earn due to sheer chance, it's important to keep in mind that most can still be bought via the Market Board as an alternative. Vice versa, that also makes many of these rewards viable sources of profit, if you're looking to make some gil.
