If you want to get some neat rewards from the Mistria Museum, you'll need to donate a bunch of stuff, like artifacts, fish, and, of course, bugs. However, you will need to get a bug net in Fields of Mistria if you want to catch some creepy crawlers around town and on the farms.
While you can eventually purchase bug nets from the Blacksmith's shop, they cost a pretty penny. You can craft them using the Forge outside the Blacksmith, but the required materials can only be gathered from the mines, which you unlock later. The method in this guide will get you a low-rarity bug net for no charge.

Something's Bugging Me Quest
Around your fourth day of starting your farm life in Fields of Mistria, you can find the 'Something's Bugging Me' side Quest at the Request board next to the general store in town.
- Quest Details: I'm concerned that I never see anyone out catching bugs... I must do something about it! Do you want to catch bugs for FUN and SCIENCE? Come to the Inn, and I'll help you get started.
- Objectives: Meet Luc at the Inn
- Rewards: Worn Net
Luckily, this quest is very simple and will be over before you know it. It will reward you with your first bug Net for catching... Bugs!
You just need to walk to the left of the general store to find the town Inn. A cutscene will happen with Luc and Hemlock, and when it ends, Luc will give you the net.
Make sure to bring any new critters to Errol at the Museum (it's in the area west of the Blacksmith).
