Where to Find the Missing Children in Final Fantasy 7 Remake
The quest starts by speaking to Ms. Folia, who’s standing opposite the weapon shop. Start your journey to finding the kids by taking the left alleyway, as you’re looking at Folia. Head down the path and turn right at the fork. Once you’ve gone through a tunnel, take the immediate right and open the door at the end of the path to the Slum Public Cemetery.
When you open the door, you’ll see Oates on his own in the middle of the area. He tells the group that he and his fellow orphans stood some tombstones back up that were lying on the ground when they ran into trouble. This kicks off the next stage of the side quest.

How to Beat the Phantoms in Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Next, you’ll be faced with two Phantoms. Here are the key details to help you defeat them quickly and easily:
- They are weak to fire, so focus on this element with your magic attacks.
- If the Phantoms use ‘Reflect’ to negate magic attacks, switch to physical damage.
- You can block some of their ice attacks, but dodge any crystals.
- Stay outside the ‘Essence Drain’ AoE.
Defeating the spectral pair brings back the remaining children, one of whom gives you an orb of Time Materia he found. You also get your HP and MP fully restored for your troubles.
