Square Enix officially announced the PC port of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth at The Game Awards 2024, confirming its release on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC version was scheduled to launch roughly a year after the game's initial release on PlayStation 5.

True to its promise, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on Steam on January 23, 2025, at 14:00 UTC. The best part is that Steam is currently offering a 30% discount on all editions (Standard and Digitial Deluxe) of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for a limited time, ending on January 23rd.

Continuing the story from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, FF7 Rebirth extends the adventure beyond Midgar. You can see familiar faces like Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, and Red XIII returning, along with new and returning characters from the original game.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth t akes you on a journey across iconic locations like Costa del Sol, Cosmo Canyon, and the Gold Saucer. It also retains much of the original action-RPG combat system while still providing more real-time battling with an emphasis on teamwork and strategic combat.
