Given that it took Square Enix the best part of a decade to develop it, it should probably come as no surprise that Final Fantasy 16 is one of the most action-packed games in the long-running JRPG series to date. Players can expect to spend countless hours with this latest installment, particularly those who are planning to unlock every last Trophy in Final Fantasy 16.

Final Fantasy 16: Every Weapon (& How to Get Them)

Those hoping to get their hands on every weapon in Final Fantasy 16 are going to have their work cut out for them as there are more than 20 available.

By

There are 50 FF16 trophies in total, 12 of which are unlocked as part of the main story. Most of the rest are tied to combat feats, collectibles, and unlocking and upgrading skills and equipment. The big exception is the "Fantasy, Finally" Trophy, which will require players to complete a New Game+ mode playthrough while playing on the "Final Fantasy" difficulty setting.

Updated April 19, 2024, by Tom Bowen: With the release of The Rising Tide comes 13 new FF16 Trophies, some of which are a little tricky to unlock. As such, we've decided to update out Final Fantasy 16 trophy guide to include detailed instructions on how to unlock every Rising Tide Trophy, with links to more in-depth guides where appropriate.

Deal an enemy 50,000 damage while it is staggered (excluding battles in the Hall of Virtue and while fully primed as Ifrit).

The "I Am the Thunder" Trophy will be unlocked after firing off fifty lightning balls. This can be done over multiple battles.

Rod to Redemption (Bronze)

Unlocked by using Titan's Titanic Block to avoid ten enemy attacks.

Beat Rocking Blocks (Bronze)

100 Mfps (Bronze)

Land 100 total hits with Lv. 2 or higher Megaflare (excluding battles in Hall of Virtue).

With Bahamut as Clive's active Eikon, pressing Circle will lead to him charging Megaflare. To unlock the "100 Mfps" Trophy, players simply need to charge it to level 2 or higher and use it enough times for 100 of the resulting energy orbs to hit enemies. This can be done over multiple fights.
