Wordle is a simple word puzzle game with some fairly straightforward rules. In order to play, word puzzle fans will need to either head to the New York Times Games Wordle website or the New York Times Games Crossword App. There are loads of other versions of Wordle out there, but this one is the original and the subject of this article. Yellow letters are correct but are in the wrong place or places in the word.
Gray letters won't appear in today's word.
Players have six total guesses.
Try new words and get new color-coded clues.
The game ends when a player guesses the word or they run out of tries.
Puzzles reset at midnight local time.
