How To Destroy Sticky Notes In FBC: Firebreak

FBC Firebreak Paper Chase Job Walkthrough Mission 3 Ejector Shuffler

The first mission of the Paper Chase job in FBC: Firebreak tasks players to destroy thousands of Sticky Notes in a multi-level office complex. This first room in Paper Chase, like other Jobsites in FBC: Firebreak, essentially serves as an introduction to the first objective of the final Paper Chase mission, which combines both of the previous missions to lead into a final third area and form a large, multi-objective level.

Your objective is simple: destroy a certian number of Sticky Notes, then get back to the elevator. There are several ways to destroy Sticky Notes in FBC: Firebreak, but the most efficient way is to combine water and the Jump Kit's Impactor weapon to chain-destroy multiple piles of sticky notes with a single blast.

However, this is not the only method to destroy Sticky Notes FBC: Firebreak players can employ.

  • Shooting Sticky Note piles with your guns will destroy them upon impact.
    • However, this is one of the more difficult FBC: Firebreak methods to destroy sticky notes, and you will have to dash back to the Ammo Station constantly.
  • Let Sticky Notes gather on your body, then wash yourself off with either the Shower or the Splash Kit's Fluid Ejector.
    • Sticky Notes will only gather on your body if you are not Wet, so be sure to wait until the condition wears off until you run around the room to gather more Sticky Notes.
  • The Splash Kit's upgraded Ejector also functions as a flamethrower. This unique upgrade can be acquired via Acquisitions and will destroy swathes of Sticky Notes on contact.
    • However, it takes a while to unlock enough Lost Assets to upgrade this tool to this level.

Keep an eye out for sprinklers in the ceiling spread throughout the office. If you shoot these, any Sticky Notes in their area of effect will become wet and can be easily destroyed by a Jump Kit's Impactor.

In later missions, sprinklers become very handy for defeating Shufflers, and because the layout doesn't change, you can expect to find sprinklers in the same location in later missions.

If you get too many Sticky Notes on your body, you will begin to transform and will go down. Use the Shower or the Splash Kit's Ejector to cleanse yourself of this status effect before it's too late.

Mission 2 Walkthrough

Defeat Shufflers To Destroy Lots Of Sticky Notes

After you successfully destroy enough Sticky Notes and evacuate the Jobsite, you will automatically queue for the second mission of the Paper Chase job. The second mission begins the same way as the first and tasks players to destroy many thousands of Sticky Notes before they can progress.

When you reach the required threshold, you will be prompted to continue to the next area.

Upon passing through the gate to the second area of Paper Chase, FBC: Firebreak players will encounter a new enemy type: Shufflers. Shufflers are fast humanoid enemies that have been completely consumed by the Sticky Notes that have infested this corner of the Oldest House.

To easily kill Shufflers, employ the same methods you used in the first room to destroy Sticky Notes. When a Shuffler is drenched in water (either via a teammate's Splash Kit Ejector or sprinklers in the ceiling), it will recoil briefly. While wet, Shufflers can be killed in a single shot from most guns in the game.

You can shoot Shufflers just like other enemies in the game, but they are significantly easier to kill if you get them wet first.

Your goal in mission 2 is to destroy even more Sticky Notes. However, the required number reaches into the hundreds of thousands. This might seem unattainable, but if you kill a Shuffler, you'll shred thousands of Sticky Notes and take out a significant chunk of the requirements to progress.

Explore this second area to find more Shufflers and continue to destroy Sticky Notes until you reach the required quota. Activate the elevator, fight off the horde of HIss that spawn and the named elite NPC, and you will be ready to progress to the third and final section of the Paper Chase job in FBC: Firebreak.

Mission 3 Walkthrough

How To Beat Sticky Ricky In FBC: Firebreak

The third mission in the Paper Chase job combines the previous two missions and adds a third room to the level that features a boss: Sticky Ricky. Sticky Ricky is made up of millions of Sticky Notes, and it's your goal in the Paper Chase level to get to this boss and use the environment in the boss arena to defeat it.

Clear both of the first two rooms by destroying Sticky Notes and killing Shufflers, then progress into the boss arena to face Sticky Ricky. This boss' attacks hit very hard and he has a number of arena-wide abilities that can cause significant damage to teammates without defensive perk upgrades if they don't find cover or get out of the way.

Follow these tips to beat Sticky Ricky and complete the final FBC: Firebreak Paper Chase mission:

  1. On the edges of the arena you should see several broken machines. Use the Jump Kit and the Fix Kit to repair and repower these contraptions.
  2. Once reactivated, look for two switches on either side of the boss arena.
  3. Pull these switches at the same time, then let loose with your grenades and guns to deal significant damage to this mountain of Sticky Notes.
  4. Repeat this process until you defeat Sticky Ricky and complete the Paper Chase mission in FBC: Firebreak!

As you progress through the fight, be sure to clean yourself off with a Splash Kit's help to mitigate the rapid Sticky Note status effect buildup. Sticky Ricky's attacks all add to this status effect, so stay close to your teammates and constantly clean off your armor to avoid being overwhelmed by the boss.
