Phase 5 of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse focuses on Misaki Aso's ongoing investigation of Rogetsu Hall. While this chapter is fairly straightforward, there are many Hozuki Dolls to photograph, files to collect, and Ghost List entries to secure within it. This walkthrough will help players address all these collectibles as they work to complete Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse's Phase 5.

Upon taking control of Misaki, players will find themselves in Room 207, and they should grab the Blue Spirit Stones and Ayako's Note from the top of the bed. Fans should then interact with the door leading to the 2F Ward Corridor. This action will cause the Girl Staring at Misaki to appear, and players should photograph this Fatal Frame ghost and then interact with the small door that is near her position.

Fans are now in the Room with Four-Poster Bed, and there are some Red Spirit Stones on a wall-mounted light and a Torn-Up Note on the bed. With these items collected, players should interact with the door to the Hidden Room and then photograph it to reveal a picture of a doll. This doll can be found behind two screens back in Room 207, and players should interact with it twice to receive the Rusty Key.

After collecting the Rusty Key, players should return to the Room with Four-Poster Bed and once again interact with the door to the Hidden Room. This action will trigger a ghost battle, and players can earn a Ghost List entry by forcing this Wraith to blossom. For the uninitiated, ghosts are more likely to blossom when they are at low health, and fans that are interested in obtaining the entry should avoid finishing off this Wraith in Fatal Frame too quickly.

Once the ghost has been dispatched, players can finally enter the Hidden Room. In this room, fans should collect the Slow Lens from the hanging jacket and then photograph the wall across the room to earn the Head Specimen in OR entry. Players can then photograph a Hozuki Doll that is tucked under the bed and pick up the Film Reel, Rogetsu Kagura Film Record, and Black Notebook (2) that are on top of the bed.

Fans of survival horror games should now set their sights on the 2F Lift Lobby and pass through the boarded door that is to the left of the stairs. This door leads to the Courtyard 2F Balcony, and players should photograph the Blooming Patients that are down below before returning to the Lift Lobby.

The Entrance Hall 2F is the next point of interest, and players should collect some Blue Spirit Stones that are sitting on a bench underneath a poster. Fans of games with haunted houses can then pass into the 2F Ward Corridor, photograph the Woman in Hallway, and enter Room 203 to pick up some Blue Spirit Stones that are on the dresser in the back room.

Players should now continue to advance through the 2F Ward Corridor in order to reach Room 206. Here, fans of Fatal Frame games should examine the radio in the cabinet and then photograph the ground across from the cabinet to obtain the Squatting Boy Ghost List entry. Players can then make their way back to the Entrance Hall 2F and quickly stop by the 2F Control Room to collect some Blue Spirit Stones that are sitting on a ledge.

At this point, players should descend the stairs in Entrance Hall 2F and photograph the Patients Standing in Entryway. Fans should then collect the Red Spirit Stones that are sitting on the couch near the ghosts' position and use the Courtyard Corridor to enter the Aso Museum. There are some Red Spirit Stones on a pedestal in this room, which players should grab before moving into the Archive and collecting some Blue Spirit Stones from a table under a mirror.

Fans of Japanese horror can now return to the Courtyard Corridor and pick up some Red Spirit Stones that are in the corner across from the entrance to the Aso Museum. Players should then proceed through the Connecting Passage Corridor and grab the Blue Spirit Stones that are beyond the Save Point in the 1F Lift Lobby.

The Dining Hall is the next stop, and players will find some Blue Spirit Stones on a table to the right of the entrance. There are also some Red Spirit Stones on a metal serving dish near a sign, and players can interact with the projector and select play once they have been collected. This will trigger a cutscene and a ghost battle that ultimately awards the Note from Madoka (6).

Players should now make a quick trip to the Courtyard View Corridor, where they can photograph the Man Sinking into Corridor, and then return to the 1F Lift Lobby. This time around, fans of the Fatal Frame franchise should approach the lift, photograph the Girl in Elevator, and then use the lift to travel to the Floor 3.

In the 3F Lift Lobby, players can collect some Blue Spirit Stones that are on the couch by the Fatal Frame Save Point and some Red Spirit Stones that are down the nearby stairs. With those items addressed, fans should enter the 3F Control Room and grab the Tape Recorder and Patient Interview: Misaki Aso from the cabinet to the left. There are also some Red Spirit Stones on the ground by the locker near the entrance to this room.

It is now time to navigate to the 3F Patient Room Corridor, and fans of games with female protagonists will find some Blue Spirit Stones on a table near the entrance and a Hozuki Doll to be photographed on a dresser that is just a few steps ahead. Players will also find a door to Room 310 in this hallway, and they should interact with it and then photograph it to reveal a picture of a Red Wheelchair.

Fans should now backtrack to the 3F Lift Lobby, photographing the Girls Running Down Corridor along the way. Once players reach the Lift Lobby, they should photograph the Girls Running Somewhere and follow them into the 3F Special Treatment Corridor. There is a Hozuki Doll on a ledge above the windows in this hallway, and fans should photograph it before entering the 3F Special Treatment Room Entrance.

Here, players should photograph the Girls Peeping into Room as well as a Hozuki Doll that is tucked into the wall to the left of those ghosts. There is also some Type-61 Film on a table in a corner, which fans of action horror games can grab before using the nearby door.

Players will now find themselves in Room 311, and there is a Hozuki Doll to photograph in the roses to the right. There are also some Blue Spirit Stones amidst the roses on a table, which players should collect before passing through the nearby curtain.

Beyond this curtain, fans of photography games will encounter many coffins, and they should interact with them all to receive Kageri Sendo's Letter (1) and Kageri Sendo's Letter (2). Notably, there is also a hidden ghost to be photographed within one of these coffins, though it is not possible to do so during a first playthrough.

With the letters collected, players should pass back through the curtain and pick up the Waning Moon Key that is sitting on the wheelchair near the mannequin. Fans should then attempt to exit the room, quickly turn around to get a photograph of the Woman in Black by Coffin, and then approach the coffin to initiate a ghost battle. When this battle concludes, players should grab Kaoru Sendo's Suicide Note from the coffin and head to Room 310, which they can now unlock.

In Room 310, players should photograph the Hozuki Doll in a basket by the entrance and collect the Grab Lens from a shelf in the back-left corner. Fans of horror game remakes should then grab the Old Research Records from a nearby dresser and make their way back to bed in the front-half of the room. There is a Koi Box sitting on a dresser near this bed, and players should interact with it to receive the Medical File: Misaki Aso (1) and trigger a cutscene and ghost battle.

This is yet another battle during which players can obtain a blossomed Ghost List entry, and fans that are going for 100% completion should thus not be too hasty to finish the fight. Specifically, the female Fatal Frame nurse is the one with a blossomed entry, and a Koi Panel will appear on the ground by the bed when both Wraiths have been defeated.

With this item in hand, players should again interact with the Koi Box. Fans of Wii games should then manipulate the tiles on the box to match the image that is above, and they will receive the Zinc Key and the Photo of Woman with No Face when the job as done. This is the end of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse's Phase 4, and players will be treated to a brief cutscene to mark the occasion.
