Provided that you own the land, then you can sell structures and properties located within the area. The button to enter build mode will depend on your platform. If you are on a PC, then it's left shift + P to open the build menu. To check the buttons, head to settings, game settings, and controls. Here you can see what each button does, this includes the button to enter build mode.

Once you are in build mode, you can move around your farm from above and select any building or structure located within your land to sell. Selling some of the more pointless structures like unwanted sheds and barns is a good way to make some extra money on day one. Since your farm does come with a few buildings by default, it's possible to make a pretty decent amount of money for virtually zero effort.
