Ubisoft's E3 2017 press conference covered a number of high-profile games, with particular interest in the likes of Assassin's Creed Origins and new IP Skull and Bones. However, Far Cry 5 was also detailed over the course of the showcase, and now Ubisoft has revealed exactly what gamers can expect from the collector's edition of the game.

The deer skull is made of resin, and comes in at a width of 17.7", and might make a foreboding piece of wall art for even the most ardent of Far Cry fans - particularly given that it is emblazoned with the intimidating logo of the game's antagonists. Completing the collector's edition are a copy of the original soundtrack of the game and a map of Hope County.

If the deer skull trophy appeals, then it might be worth checking exactly what funds are available, as the full Hope County, MT Collector's Edition will set back interested gamers to the sum of $180. This may seem like a rather large amount of money, but it actually pales in comparison to another Ubisoft collector's edition unveiled over the course of E3 2017. The Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition of Assassin's Creed Origins actually costs a whopping $800.

Although Far Cry 5 was not the main focus of Ubisoft's E3 2017 presentation, the game was given a suitable amount of time to allow gamers to get a better idea of how the title is shaping up. Of particular interest was a Far Cry 5 gameplay trailer that revealed the game's cast, as well as showing off some the action that players can expect.

Whether the trailer was enough to get players interested in the collector's edition or not remains to be seen, however. After all, that deer skull trophy would look best in a rural log cabin, and that kind of location doesn't lend itself well to the quality of internet access required to make use of the game's online co-op play.

Far Cry 5 will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 27, 2018.
