Aquamarine is a rare gemstone in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time that is required to complete Fledgling-level Miner quests and used in various crafting recipes for Lives like the Blacksmith. Tracking down gemstones in Fantasy Life i is tricky since new players have no way of knowing which ores they come from, and the drop rates are fairly low on top of that.
Aspiring Fantasy Life i Miners should already be familiar with gemstones like Topaz if they've been working on their Life quests and harvesting Copper Ore Deposits. The process of obtaining Aquamarine is similar, but players will have to venture to different areas unlocked further in the main story in order to find the necessary gathering nodes.
How to Respec Skills in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
Fantasy Life i offers a different skill tree for any specific life, allowing players to unlock new abilities; here's how to respec said skills.
Aquamarine Locations in Fantasy Life i
Aquamarine is a rare drop from Iron Deposits and Blue Ore Deposits. It can only be obtained from Amazing and Superior versions of these gathering nodes, which are much harder to find than the normal ones.
The best place to find Amazing and Superior Iron and Blue Ore Deposits is Lulab Forest on Faraway Island. This is the second island you'll visit in the main story of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The forest may seem like it only has trees and fish, but there's a spot at the very northeastern edge of Lulab Forest with a bunch of ore to mine. It's guarded by a powerful dragon boss, though, so be prepared to either defend yourself or sprint past it.
While Aquamarine is quite rare, you can increase the chances of it dropping from Iron and Blue Ore Deposits with Excellent Gathering. If you're unfamiliar with Excellent Gathering, all you have to do is deal a huge amount of damage to finish off the gathering node. Using charged swings or special abilities unlocked via the Miner skill tree is a good strategy for this, but it still might not be enough if your pickaxe isn't up to snuff.
If you level up your Blacksmith Life, you can craft your own pickaxe with better stats than the ones you can buy from shops. Higher-quality tools also come with random perks, so there's a chance you'll craft a pickaxe that specifically does more damage to Iron Deposits or Blue Ore Deposits. You can also buy or craft food that boosts your gathering abilities or do some grinding in Ginormosia if your Mining skill isn't very high in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
