Cashmere is a two-star tailoring material, but players need it to craft certain furniture and clothes, including battle gear. There are a couple of options for grabbing the quality material, so here's how to get Cashmere in Fantasy Life i.
Fantasy Life i: Every Purple Seal Location (& Rewards)
Purple Seals are endgame exploration blockers in Fantasy Life i that hide some lucrative rewards behind them. Here's where each one is located.
What is Cashmere in Fantasy Life i?
In Fantasy Life i, players explore the world by taking on different Lives and learning skills. The Tailor Life is all about designing clothing. While clothes can be a cosmetic choice, players can craft special clothes with attack and defense-boosting buffs. Crafting recipes can be bought from shops, dropped from monsters, or found in chests around the various maps. Cashmere is a rare tailoring material players need to make gear and complete quests in Fantasy Life i.
More common materials like Sheep Fleece and Straw Thread can be purchased from most Material and Tool Shops. Finding Cashmere is a bit more selective.
Players can get hints for recipe materials from the Recipe menu by viewing the Material Info.
Cashmere can be purchased or crafted at a Tailor workbench using Goat Fleece.
Where to Buy Cashmere in Fantasy Life i
Players can buy Cashmere from the Material Shop on the northeastern corner of Faraway Island for 150 Dosh. Alternatively, they can buy Goat Fleece for 80 Dosh and make Cashmere through the Tailor Life. Goat Fleece is sold at most Material Shops, including
- Marco's Shop at the Base Camp Guild
- The Material Shop on Faraway Island
- Tool Shop on Ginormosia
There are many ways to get Dosh in Fantasy Life i, but players can craft their own Cashmere to save the money.
How to Make Cashmere in Fantasy Life i
The cheapest way to get Cashmere is by crafting it on a workbench. Players must be Apprentice Rank of the Tailor Life to get the Cashmere crafting recipe. Tailoring can be leveled using cheaper materials such as Dandelion Cotton and Wool.
Make sure to level up Tailoring using the Skill Board. Taking the 1-star Auto-Sewing and + EXP Earned% skills will save a significant amount of time. Players can complete Tailor quests to earn Reward Stars and increase their rank faster.
Cashmere requires 2 Goat Fleece puffs to craft. Players can save their Dosh by picking up Goat Fleece from a Monster drop. The valuable fluff can be found on ram-like monsters called Cashmeers. Cashmeers are found on Faraway Island in the Lulab Forest from the Valley of Spirits entrance. Players will see two golden Monster icons on their map in the far west corner.
A herd of Cashmeers and two Goldmeers are in the marked area. The Goldmeers drop Golden Goat Fleece, which can be used to make Flare Cashmere, a more powerful material. The Cashmeers are level 18, but their strength is in numbers.
Focus on cutting them down first. The Goldmeers are stronger, at level 23, so be prepared with HP potions and good weapons. Players can return and get more fleece after the monster's 5-minute cool-down period.
