Before starting a life in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, here's what beginners should keep in mind for the smoothest experience.
Fire Angeltree Location
Within the Past timeframe, head to the northwest of the Capital of Mysteria. You will find a few hexagonal cliffs on top of each other with a waterfall in front. The Fire Angeltree is on top of the cliffs. There is usually a high-level dragon sleeping at the foot of the waterfall during the day.
The Fire Angeltree is the first variant of the tree that you need to cut down. This will be a task at the Apprentice level of the Woodcutter's life, rewarding players with 500 rank points. The rewards for cutting the tree down include Fire Log, Elder Fire Log, Fire Mana, and a random tool. Make sure to cut it down with an Excellent hit to get the best loot. The tree has a chance to drop a blue chest as well, which usually contains a Strangeling.
Wind Angeltree Location
This one is located inside Lulab Forest's cave. To get to it, unlock Faraway Island in the Past. Then follow the story missions until you reach the western branch of the Lulab Forest. This is the entrance that follows from the giant tree in the middle of the map.
After entering the forest, head forward and take a right when possible. Take a left at the next hub area, and you will reach the Wind Angeltree. Cutting this one down is a mission for the Adept level in the Woodcutter's life, with 700 rank points as rewards. The drops from Wind Angeltree include Wind Log, Elder Wind Log, Wind Mana, and a possible random tool or blue chest.
Water Angeltree Location
Head to Tropical Isles in the Past. Follow the maze-like islands in the area until you reach the small isle at the center, which is where the Water Angeltree is located. Chopping down this tree with an Excellent hit will drop Water Log, Elder Water Log, and Water Mana. Similar to other Angeltrees, there is a chance to get a blue chest or a random rare tool.
Players get 600 rank points for cutting down Water Angeltree. This quest becomes available at the Expert level of the Woodcutter's life.
Earth Angeltree Location
Unlock Swolean Island in the past and head inside the Cave of Trials. There are three exit points in this cave. Exit from the northernmost path, which leads you to a cliff on the west side of Swolean Island, where the Earth Angeltree is located.
Like the Water variant, Earth Angeltree is also a quest at the Expert level, and offers 600 rank points in return. Earth is the highest-level variant of the Angeltree. It drops Earth Logs, Elder Earth Logs, Earth Mana, and possibly random drops like tools or a blue chest.
