Legendary gathering nodes reward some of the rarest materials in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, but they're hard to track down. Woodcutters, Miners, and Anglers can seek out these legendary gathering spots to harvest resources used in high-level crafting recipes, but they're only found in specific spots throughout the world. They also have lengthy respawn timers, so farming them can be a bit of a pain for Fantasy Life i players.
Still, plenty of legendary gathering nodes are found near fast travel points across Fantasy Life i's islands, so most of them are only a short loading screen away no matter where players are. Some of them are buried deep inside caves and dungeons, though, so players will have to carve some time out of their busy gathering and crafting schedules to harvest them whenever they're ready. Some of them cannot be accessed until the postgame, too, so there are quite a few roadblocks standing between high-level gatherers and the best trees, ores, and fish.
Fantasy Life i: All Ore Locations
Gathering ores is the primary progression method in a Miner's life in Fantasy Life i; here's where to find each type.
Fantasy Life i Legendary Gathering Node Locations
There are legendary gathering nodes for Miners, Woodcutters, and Anglers in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. These gathering spots are marked with a star icon and can only be harvested once every few minutes. Plus, the best drops require players to perform excellent gathering, so the gear and skill requirements for these gathering nodes are quite high.
These legendary gathering nodes can also appear in Ginormosia, but only once players have increased the area rank of certain regions by collecting Leafes, completing challenges, and harvesting resources. The same goes for Treasure Groves, the sapling dungeons that players can plant at their Base Camps. Some legendary gathering modes can only be found within Treasure Groves, and some can only be found in Ginormosia.
In Ginormosia, legendary gathering nodes will appear randomly as special area challenges with a blue hue instead of the usual red glowing icons. These only show up every so often, but you can force the game to reset all of the active area challenges by visiting a tower and repeatedly changing the area rank anywhere on the map. Change the area rank down a notch, move it back up to the maximum, and then check the map to see if any legendary gathering nodes have appeared.
This page will be updated as more legendary gathering spawn locations are discovered.

How to Get Legendary Farmer Vegetables in Fantasy Life i
There are boss vegetables for Farmers in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, but they have a random chance of appearing whenever you grow any crops. Just plant a bunch of seeds at your Base Camp, water them, and come back after a while. There's a good chance you'll see a gigantic onion, carrot, or other vegetable waiting for you when you return.
Legendary vegetables can appear in Ginormosia and Treasure Groves, but they're quite rare. Since you can just plant as many seeds as you want at your Base Camp, there's no need to go out of your way to search for legendary veggies. If you're really in need of some for a Farmer challenge, though, then grinding Treasure Groves and specifically choosing the farming challenges along the way is a great way to stock up.
