Summary

  • Season 4 of the sci-fi series From has been greenlit and filming begins in Nova Scotia this summer.
  • Fans speculate that filming for Season 4 may have started based on a cast member's mysterious set photo.
  • With its wacky plot twists and popular cast, From has become MGM+'s most-watched series, captivating viewers.

MGM's From TV series took the world by storm when it first aired in 2022, and from its very first episode, sci-fi fans couldn't get enough of its terrifying, mystery-fueled narratives that saw horrific monsters emerge from a forest while its residents were held captive in a mind-bending, parallel universe. Thankfully, after three wild and weird seasons, season 4 was greenlit, with filming for the 10-episode season set to begin this summer in Nova Scotia, Canada.

It's not surprising that From went on to become the most-watched series in MGM+'s history. Not only did sci-fi horror fans love the show's wacky theories that spread like wildfire across social media, but also its cast, who delivered a fantastic and believable performance. The show's endless mystery seemed like a never-ending maze week after week as the plotline took dramatic twists and turns. From included a whirlwind of emotions and confusion as events went from bad to worse. Not only are the residents of Fromville stuck in a town without any obvious escape route and horrific monsters constantly on their backs, but they are also at the mercy of a mysterious force that plays games with their minds, making them either see "ghosts" or worms under their skin. The MGM sci-fi series has been likened to other popular shows like Lost, due to its confusing direction. Even though it's been quiet on the From season 4 news front recently, viewers did discover that the series will return in 2026, but as fans' patience starts to get above boiling point, one of the show's cast members may have hinted that season 4 is currently filming.

Sci-fi features tons of different interactions between humanity and aliens, but when different species fall in love, it raises a lot of questions.

From Season 4 Could Have Started Filming Already as Star Shares Set Photo

From Season 4

On Reddit, From fans think that season 4 of the hit MGM series may have begun production as Kaelen Ohm, who plays Marielle, shared a mysterious picture on her Instagram stories, which could be taken straight from the show's set. Although the image doesn't give a clear indication of what Ohm has captured, the actor has left it cryptic enough to start rumors. One somewhat strange feature of the image is that it seems to be a set built upon a curling rink, but stranger things have happened (and we are talking about From here, after all!)

The secretive set image posted by Ohm also almost lines up with when production is meant to commence on the show. Although a little early, as it's still spring and production is meant to go ahead in the summer of 2025, it's still a pretty good conclusion that filming could now be on a roll. A redditor commented that they had seen vehicles and food trucks at the sound stages in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, recently, which might be another indicator that From season 4 is underway.

Starring Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, and many more regulars, From has steadily kept its fanbase at arm's length regarding the show's mystery and what the events in the town actually mean. Despite this, Season 3 did end with an unexpected death as Jim met his end as a result of Tabitha and Jade's discovery of who they really are. Here's hoping Season 4 will serve up more mysteries and conclude others that have been ongoing since its very first episode.

From Season 3 is currently available to stream on NOW, Sky, and the MGM+ Amazon Channel.
