Fallout Shelter has a gacha-like mechanic that takes the form of Lunchboxes. Different types of Lunchboxes offer varying items. Unfortunately, the items you get are random, meaning you must keep spending more to find something valuable.

The good news is that the Lunchbox glitch allows you to keep trying to find valuable items without breaking the bank. It is also a great way to find valuable resources that will do wonders for developing your colony.

There are different ways to exploit the glitch, but Bethesda has taken care of most of them. All is not lost, though, as there is a tried and tested method that works to this day, which is as follows:

  1. Create a new account.
  2. Start a new game with a new vault.
  3. Once you are in, complete a few objectives.
  4. Wait until you get the starter objectives: Sell 1 Weapon or Outfit, Equip 1 Dweller with an Outfit, and Assign 2 Dwellers in the right room. However, do not complete the first two objectives.
  5. Complete the third objective to get rewards like caps and a Lunchbox.
  6. Once you complete the third objective, the game will cycle until you get a tutorial objective, which will reward you with Lunchboxes.

Exploiting the Lunchbox glitch in Fallout Shelter will not result in a ban, and unlike other glitches, this is the only one that continues to work to this day. If you want to develop your vault quickly, this is the best way to do so.
