Fallout London creator Team FOLON has recently detailed the upcoming 1.03 update and announced that the developers are currently working on a DLC for the popular Fallout 4 total conversion mod. Fallout London is one of the most popular game mods ever created, and it seems that its success is leading Team FOLON to expand its scope.
Originally revealed in 2021, Fallout London was finally released on GOG in July 2024. The ambitious project faced several setbacks before release after Bethesda updated Fallout 4 unexpectedly, and also due to its large file size, but an unprecedented partnership with GOG helped Fallout London to come out and become a big hit, being downloaded by over a million gamers.

Now, the members of Team FOLON have revealed that the upcoming 1.03 update has become so big that some of its changes will be introduced in a DLC for Fallout London. This is certainly unusual, considering that most mods do not gain DLCs, but it’s exciting news for fans of the total conversion project. The team disclosed that the DLC will feature both new and previously cut content, but has not revealed anything about a possible storyline or a release date yet. During the announcement, the developers also shared a huge list of over 900 changes that will be available when the 1.03 update comes out. Also, Team FOLON has announced that it has officially registered as a business and that, while the developers will still support the excellent Fallout 4 mod, they will also move to other commercial projects in the future.
Team FOLON Announces New Fallout London DLC And Details 1.3 Update
Ever since its somewhat bugged release, Team FOLON has released a few updates for Fallout London. The last update Fallout London received was back in October, and it fixed over 1,000 bugs, greatly improving the mod’s stability. The update also addresses major issues with quests, which could previously stop a player’s progress.
A DLC with more content is certainly excellent news for Fallout fans, especially considering how starved of new single-player content the fanbase currently is. While Fallout 76 had a few updates this year, Fallout 5 is still nowhere in sight, and it’s not very likely that the title will be released much earlier than 2030, as not even The Elder Scrolls 6 has a release date yet. So, despite Fallout London’s DLC not being official content, is still the closest to more single-player content that fans of the franchise can get soon.
