Where to Find Soap in Fallout 76
For those who are specifically on the lookout for some soap in Fallout 76, we will share some of the best locations to find it where you'll be able to get more than one. Here are some spots we suggest taking a look at.
New River Gorge Resort
To find New River Gorge Resort, you'll want to go towards the New River Gorge Bridge, south of Vault 76 and west of Sutton Station. When you arrive here, you'll want to head southwest of the resort, where you'll find a large pylon by some railroad tracks. There will be a skeleton in a bathtub underneath the pylon, where you'll be able to find up to 20 pieces of soap.
Red Rocket Mega Stop
To locate Red Rocket Mega Stop, make your way towards the northeastern section of the map. The Red Rocket sign will be marked on the map, and you can find it north of the Pumpkin House. When you arrive, take a left and follow towards the back until you see a hole in the wall on the right. Enter in here, and you should be able to find a few bars of soap in the bathroom.
Darling Sister's Lab
For this last location, you'll want to head to the northwestern section of the map. Darling Sister's Lab can be found directly north of Tyler County Fairgrounds, and southwest of Aaronholt Homestead. When you arrive, approach the open hut in the middle. There will be a bathtub to the right of it, and a red wheelbarrow behind it with a bunch of soap inside.

Soap Uses in Fallout 76
Soap has a few different uses in Fallout 76. The main one right now is to pick it up to complete some Spring Cleaning challenges. Some of these challenges include:
- Collect soap with the Abraxo Pip-Boy Skin equipped
- Collect Abraxo Cleaner with the Abraxo Pip-Boy Skin Equipped
- Kill a Lesser Devil with the Cremator
Outside of this current event, you can also break down soap at any workbench to receive some scrap materials for crafting in return. When you break down one piece of soap, you'll get some oil. You can use this for crafting a multitude of different mechanical devices.
