A talented Fallout 76 player online has shared their epic Vault Boy art installation that they have created at their in-game camp. This Fallout 76 creation shows what the most talented creators can do with the game's camp-building tools.
In Fallout 76, camps are portable homes that players can set up around the wasteland. This is in contrast to Fallout 4's settlements, which allowed players to build in set areas defined by Bethesda. Regardless, the communities of both titles have been massively creative in building unique camps and settlements since their release. For example, one Fallout 76 player even turned an old rail car into an incredible camp, showing how various parts of the world can be transformed with this system.
Fallout 76 Breaking One Big Promise is All I Want for Christmas
The big Fallout 76 update teased for the end of 2025 has the opportunity to give longtime franchise fans what they’ve been begging for.
X user JamesTwoSheep shared their interesting creation at their Fallout 76 camp, which initially looks like a bunch of floating junk. However, as they ascend a staircase and get the proper perspective, the junk transforms into the image of a frowning Vault Boy, which must have taken a ton of effort to get right. It doesn't end there, though. JamesTwoSheep then heads to another staircase on the opposite side of the room, revealing the face of a smiling Vault boy instead.
Fallout 76 Player Makes Vault Boy Perspective Art Out of Junk
Unfortunately, JamesTwoSheep didn't reveal how long the creation took them to complete, although considering all the Fallout 76 junk involved, it can't have been a quick process, especially given its double-sided nature. The responses to the creation were universally positive, with one user even describing it as a "mixture of Silent Hill and Fallout."
While fans continue to create more impressive things using the tools currently available, Fallout 76 itself continues to go from strength to strength. Earlier this year, Bethesda rolled out an update that gave players the ability to play as a ghoul, while another recent content drop kicked off the game's Season 21 with a fun fishing theme. There are more exciting plans to come for Fallout 76, with an update in the works dedicated to the game's camp-building community.
