Completing events in Fallout 76 will not only award the player with some XP, but they will also receive a nice little treasure trove of goodies. Players can even get incredibly rare outfits for completing certain events. Horde events are great for those who want to earn XP and farm legendary weapons at the same time.

How To Find Horde Events In Fallout 76

Look At The Map Activity Menu

Horde Events aren't public events. To find them, you'll need to check the World Activity menu on the map screen. Toggle the menu to show all world events. Then, you can scroll down and see if there are any horde Events on the server. Each horde Event will have its region in the title.

If there aren't any Horde Events on the server you are on, simply hop servers and try again.

Horde Events are pretty common. They are also fairly easy to complete. Sometimes, when traveling to a Horde Event, you'll load in right next to the horde. This is great for getting the event done quickly. However, for the most part, there are four possible locations that could contain the horde. You'll need to travel to these locations to find it.

While this may seem a bit tedious, there is a simple way around it. If there is a Mirelurk horde in the Mire region, then the horde will probably be located at Highland Marsh. This is because Highland Marsh is a Mirelurk spawn location.

By finding out where specific enemy groups can typically be found, it's possible to narrow down the search to one or two locations. This way, you won't have to visit all four locations to find the horde. This may take some time or even a little bit of research, but the more you play, the more you'll figure out where certain enemies can be found.

Why Skyline Valley Horde Events Are Worth Doing

Skyline Valley Hoard Complete

When traveling to a Skyline Valley Horde, a message will pop up asking the player to search various locations to find the horde. However, if you open up the map, there's only one location to search in Skyline Valley.

This seems like an error on the developer's end, but it makes the event a lot faster and easier, as you'll only need to travel to one location to take down the horde.

While the rewards aren't particularly special, it's a great way to earn XP in Fallout 76 — and earn a legendary item in the process.
