As the strongest T-Series model, T-65 is a Secret Service Power Armor primarily used by the agents in Vault 79. It has a Physical Damage resistance of 565 (at max) and a 470 resistance against Electrical and Radiation threats.
However, since T-65 is a Gold Bullion-exclusive item, many beginners in Fallout 76 don’t know how to craft it, which is why this guide comes in handy. Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting the T-65 Power Armor as soon as possible.
How to Get the T-65 Power Armor in Fallout 76
The only way to get the T-65 Power Armor is by completing the main quest line and purchasing its plans in Vault 76. Basically, players should finish any of the two end-game quests, All That Glitters or The Secrets Revealed, and pay 6,900 Gold Bullions to Regs to unlock the T-65 plans.

Minerva is another vendor that sells the T-65 plans, but she rotates her location and might be hard to trace.
How to Unlock the T-65 Plans Faster
At the end of the Gold Bullion mission in the Wastelanders update (whether it’s All That Glitters or the Secrets Revealed), players can keep all the 1,000 Gold Bullion to themselves, which is an excellent head start for unlocking the T-65 plans. Another way to farm Gold Bullion faster is by completing daily challenges for Treasury Notes.
Here are all the methods for collecting Bullion to unlock the T-65 Power Armor:
- Do the Public Event quests (the ones that have an exclamation mark). These missions reward attendees with Treasury Notes that could then be exchanged for Gold Bullion.
- Visit Smiley at the Wayward pub weekly to buy 300 Bullion for 6,000 Caps.
There’s a daily cap on how much Gold Bullion players can earn. Currently, the cap is 200, which means it would take up to 4 weeks to collect the money for the entire T-65 plan.
How to Craft the T-65 Power Armor
Once all six plans (helmet, torso, arms, and legs) are acquired, place the chassis at a Power Armor Station and craft T-65 with Aluminum, Black Titanium, Circuitry, Gear, Glass, Oil, Plastic, Rubber, Screw, Silver, Spring, Steel, and Nuclear Material.

How to Get the T-65 Mods
Similar to the T-65 plans, its mods are Bullion-exclusive items. The only way to obtain them is by buying the plans in Vault 79 from Regs or at random locations from Minerva.
Players can attach the Excavator Power Armor Jetpack to T-65 and cut back on the budget (T-65’s Jetpack alone costs 2,000 Gold Bullion, which is incredibly expensive).
Fallout 76 is available now for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
