For a limited time, Fallout 76 players will be able to claim the Vault 33 jumpsuit in the game's Atomic Shop free of charge. Though it had a controversial launch in 2018, Bethesda was able to turn Fallout 76 around, establishing it as a multiplayer spin-off worthy of the Fallout franchise. Over the years, it has received numerous major content updates, with the latest one taking Fallout 76 players to Atlantic City, a location previously unexplored in the setting. The first Atlantic City update, Boardwalk Paradise, will be released on December 5, while the latter half does not have a concrete release date yet.

Todd Howard Compared Upcoming TV Series to Fallout 5

According to one Fallout TV series executive producer, Todd Howard had a lot of nice things to say about the show.

Vault 33 Jumpsuit Can Be Claimed For Free Until December 12 in Fallout 76

To be precise, the official Fallout account on Twitter announced that Fallout 76 players would be able to claim the Vault 33 jumpsuit for free in the Atomic Shop until December 12. Vault 33 is located in Santa Monica, and is a major location in the upcoming television series. Though it will take place across the wastelands of California, the protagonist of the show, Lucy (played by Ella Purnell), is a vault dweller hailing from Vault 33. Lucy will be joined by Maximus (Aaron Moten), a squire from the Brotherhood of Steel, and The Ghoul, a bounty hunter played by Walton Goggins, as the main cast of Fallout.

While the show will launch on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024, players will at least be able to roam the wilderness of Appalachia in Vault 33 uniforms far earlier than that. On top of the free promotional jumpsuit from Amazon's Fallout show, Season 15 also kicks off in Fallout 76 on December 5, complete with a new array of cosmetic rewards that players can earn. Titled "The Big Score," the new Fallout 76 season is themed around a casino heist, but will also feature a Roman-themed power armor for players who reach the final rank.

Though it remains to be seen how Fallout will be received by fans when it debuts in April, the impressions have been overwhelmingly positive thus far. Fallout 76 having a strong playerbase, even five years after launch, bodes well for the franchise long-term. Given that The Elder Scrolls 6 is the next game in Bethesda's development pipeline, it may be a long while until players experience Fallout 5. A successful Fallout 76 and Fallout show would, at the very least, make the wait significantly less painful for fans.
