Challenges play a big part in the daily gameplay loop in Fallout 76. These often involve simple tasks, such as crafting specific weapons, collecting resources, building CAMP structures, or killing certain enemy types. The latter is often the one that stumps many players, considering the sheer number of monsters in the Appalachian wasteland.

Fallout 76: How to Get to Atlantic City

Atlantic City is the second expedition released by Bethesda, but traveling there can be confusing. Here's how to get to Atlantic City in Fallout 76.

Insects-type enemies are plentiful in post-apocalyptic West Virginia, though there are certain places where players can reliably find them in great quantities. If you want to finish daily challenges to get to Fallout 76's max level cap as soon as possible, here's a quick guide showing two popular Insect farm locations in the game.

Best Places To Find Insects In Fallout 76

When it comes to hunting insects, two places come to mind: Aaronholt Homestead and Fort Defiance. If you're looking for a more relaxed experience, the former is your best bet, but if you want to level up faster in Fallout 76, then go to the latter. Either way, the bugs you'll fight here are fairly easy to kill — both locations have Bloodbugs and Bloatflies flying around, though Fort Defiance also has giant ants roaming around.

Aaronholt Homestead

This POI is in the northwestern area of the Forest. It's a fairly low-level area without many threats along the way, making it the better option to visit if you're just starting out. Aaronholt Homestead is found slightly northeast of the Tyler County Fairground (the large ferris wheel on the map). Just follow the road and you'll eventually reach the farm.

You can find up to eight insects flying around Aaronholt Homestead. They don't pose much of a threat, though they can be annoying to shoot at. Deal with them however you'd like, and if you're out of bugs to kill, return to the main menu and load back into the game. This will place you in a different server that may or may not have a repopulated Aaronholt Homestead for you to sweep again.

Fort Defiance

This is a pre-war asylum that's full of Feral Ghouls, Radrats, and Radroaches. If you check all the rooms here, you'll find at least eight Radroaches clinging to the walls. Compared to the Aaronholt Homestead, Fort Defiance will take more time to clear given its sheer size, though you can also get plenty of bonus XP here thanks to the ghouls and rats inside.

If you're here solely to hunt insects, then head straight to the third floor. There's a high chance of you encountering Bloodbugs, Bloatflies, and ants there. Be careful, as there can also be a Wendigo roaming the upper floor.
