Fallout 76 takes place only a little bit after the Great War that completely devastated the United States of America, leaving a ton of radiation in its wake. With this radiation, some creatures have mutated into versions of themselves that players won't necessarily recognize right off the bat.
One of these creatures is known as the Honey Beast. They are a pretty common enemy within the Appalachian Region of the game, and they can be required for Daily or Weekly Challenges. They can also be required for various events (and even for Tadpole Badges, which will require a picture of one). Here's how to find them in the game.

What Are Honey Beasts In Fallout 76?
Honey Beasts are the Fallout 76 version of honey bees. Due to radiation, these creatures have undergone some major mutations that have caused them to be much larger. Smaller bees will create hives on their backs, and these bees will work with the Honey Beast to attack the player. They can also spawn with Boatflies, which will attack the player as well. Considering their large size (larger than a human), they are no longer able to fly, so players only need to worry about them on the ground.
