The general area around lead deposits are some of the best spots to place a CAMP in Fallout 76 — if you're looking for a good place to put down your base for ammo crafting, here are a few good locations.
Where To Find Lead Deposits in Fallout 76
Like most ore deposits, you can find natural lead veins in rocky and mountainous regions. The mountain range west of the Atlas Observatory in the Savage Divide contains a few lead deposits, though searching for these is going to be a hassle. Your best bet at getting lead ore is to visit the Lucky Hole Mine, which is also in the Savage Divide, though it's much closer to the Cranberry Bog region.
Lucky Hole Mine is located just west of Watoga city, near Fort Defiance and Big Bend Tunnel East. It is a highly industrialized area with lots of machinery in and out of the mine itself. You'll encounter a number of enemy types here, including the bog-standard radroaches, ants, mole miners, and Mothman cultists.
