Summary

  • Fallout 4's unmarked location offers chaotic fun with fuel tanks.
  • The potential for disaster is present, with one player dying in a tragic way.
  • Gamers struggle to locate the spot near Fort Hagen for some explosive entertainment.

A Fallout 4 player online has shown off a cool unmarked location in the game, which has the potential to create a bunch of chaotic fun. The world of Fallout 4 has a ton for players to discover, but there's no doubt that this will go unnoticed during most playthroughs.

As a Bethesda game, Fallout 4 has lots for players to find throughout their saves. This feeling of discovery is something that Bethesda titles manage to capture in a way unlike very few others, which is why players continue to return to the games so long after their initial launches. Just recently, a Fallout 4 player discovered a little-known item detail after nearly nine years, which is a perfect example of this in action. Players are naturally going to play for a very long time if they feel they haven't found everything the game has to offer, and this is certainly the case in Fallout 4.

While Fallout 4 is the first mainline entry in the franchise not to feature Centaurs, it was originally meant to have their scariest version yet.

Redditor ryougihan shared a video from the hidden Fallout 4 location, and it seems as though players could have a ton of chaotic fun here. The building has a lookout over Fallout 4's Commonwealth Wasteland, with several fuel tanks available to place in a funnel looking outward. In the video, the player places the fuel tanks into the funnels and shoots them, sending them flying out into the distance before exploding. It's some silly fun that shows off why the Fallout 4 sandbox is so interesting almost a decade after its release.

Fallout 4 Unmarked Location is Chaotic Fun

The potential for this to go horribly wrong is also clear - one player in the thread described finding the location, and having one of the fuel tanks fly back towards the room in midair, killing them in the process. While funny, this would be a pretty heartbreaking way to lose a Fallout 4 Survival Mode run. Interestingly, players in the thread had a hard time pinning down the location, although it was eventually concluded that gamers wanting to try this for themselves can find it near Fort Hagen along a cliff edge.

With Fallout 4 set to turn 10 years old next year, the wait goes on for a new mainline entry into the series. The recent Fallout 4 next-gen update was cool, especially after the patch fixing its biggest issues, but it pales in comparison to a new game in the series. Gamers will have to wait and see if the success of the Fallout TV show forces Bethesda's hand in fast-tracking a new title, whether that be from the studio itself, or another chosen developer.
