A Fallout 4 player online has shown off their impressive settlement build, which they have turned into an extremely efficient ammo factory. Although players need plenty of ammo to complete Fallout 4, this player will never have those kinds of concerns ever again.

Since Fallout 4 was first released back in 2015, the game's community has been creating impressive settlements across the Commonwealth Wasteland. In the early days of the game, players merely scratched the surface of what was possible with the settlement-building mechanics, and in recent years, the true potential has finally been unlocked. It's been cool to see exactly what players are able to create in the game, with one Fallout 4 player even turning Vault 88 into a shooting range. There's no doubt that players will continue to push what these mechanics are capable of for many years to come yet.

Redditor DanplsstopDied shared their impressive Fallout 4 settlement, which they have converted into a complete ammo-production factory. The ammo makes its way onto a conveyor belt, before eventually landing in conveyor storage until the player manually collects it. According to DanplsstopDied, the ammo factory is producing an eye-watering 1,400 5.56mm rounds per minute, which would very quickly amount to a higher number than players would ever need to use in the game. They did point out that it was a good thing they're not playing Fallout 4 Survival Mode, where ammunition actually has weight.

Fallout 4 Ammo Factory Produces 1,400 Rounds Per Minute

The build is extremely impressive, although the user did admit to using some Fallout 4 mods to make it happen, with each machine creating the ammo having a ton of modded materials to keep the conveyor running smoothly. This makes sense, and certainly doesn't diminish how impressively this settlement build has been put together.

It has been almost nine years since Fallout 4 was released, and there is no sign of a new mainline game in the series. While it's great that players continue to play Fallout 4 and utilize its settlement mechanics in new and interesting ways, there's no doubt a growing appetite for a sequel. With The Elder Scrolls 6 currently in active development at Bethesda, it's difficult to imagine a new title developed by the studio any time soon. While this is pure speculation, it's always possible that Bethesda will off the IP to another developer in the meantime, much like with Fallout: New Vegas. Regardless of what happens, hopefully, players aren't waiting as long as it seems will be the case for a new Fallout.
