Here at The Best War Games, we accept the fact that everybody's different. Whether it's down to your favorite movie, your favorite meal or even your favorite time of day, you are unique. Absolutely, unequivocally, undoubtedly unique.

You might prefer blondes to brunettes, checkers to chess or dancing to diving. You might enjoy tennis more than swimming, hurdles more than sprinting, or football more than soccer.

We'd even wager that some of you like a little pain to go with your pleasure. And for those of you that need a bit of misery to experience a bit of merriment, have we got news for you! Playlogic Game Factory have just announced that their downloadable title 'Fairytale Fights' will be receiving DLC for the PSN version on February 11th, with the Xbox 360 version coming at a later date. The official press release reads;

Treasure Pack 1 is the first downloadable pack released for Fairytale Fights, the hack n’ slash platform-adventure game developed by Playlogic Game Factory.  The pack includes new characters playable in story mode and the new PvP arena’s.  New characters include:

·        Bones: a two foot tall calcium lover

·        Princess Afia: the mysterious princess from a sparkly land far far away

·        Grandma Red: Little Red Riding Hood’s grandma

·        Puss in Boots: everyone’s favorite feline

Treasure Pack 1 also features three new awesome arenas to paint red with the blood of your foes!  Each arena is carefully designed to test players’ combat skills.  The new PvP arenas include:

·        Time to Die

·        Rooftop Rumble

·        Cannon Ball Bay

Admittedly it all sounds jolly good, but if the DLC is of the same standard as the main game (we gave Fairytale Fights a 1.5/5 in our review) then color me uninterested. DLC to prolong the life of games is a fantastic idea, but one which should only really be applied to those deserving of it.

Have you played Fairytale Fights? Are you looking forward to this DLC?

Treasure Pack 1 is available to download February 11 on the PlayStation Network, with the Xbox 360 version coming later.
