It’s been a while since the last Disney Dreamlight Valley update, but the wait is finally over. Gameloft announced the next update, titled Wonderland Whimsy, on April 15 and gave us a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
The announcement showed a variety of new content, but the most exciting part is, of course, the new characters. This time, we’ll be heading into a new realm to unlock two cute characters. But that’s not all, because the game will also introduce some long-awaited features that many fans have requested. So what can you expect from this new update? Everything Included in Dreamlight Valley’s Alice in Wonderland Update
New Realm and Characters
The biggest highlight of the update is definitely the two new characters. Alice and the cute Cheshire Cat from the Alice in Wonderland movie are finally coming to DDV. Fans had a feeling they’d join the valley thanks to the roadmap, but now it’s official.
Players will first meet Alice and the Cheshire Cat in their own realm, which they can access through the Dream Castle like the other realms in the game. As always, you’ll need to do a quest (or maybe a few) to permanently unlock them. Once they join the valley, you can raise your friendship with them and do their friendship quests.
Uncrafting Station
With the new Alice in Wonderland update, players will now be able to deconstruct items that they have crafted. For this, the game has introduced a new Uncrafting Station. This will allow you to break down crafted items you no longer need and get your materials back. Using this station will cost Dreamlight, but we don’t know yet how much it will be. We also don't know if the cost will be the same for every item or vary depending on what you are deconstructing.
More Storage
Another great feature in the update is storage expansion. Players can now upgrade their Small, Medium, and Large chests to hold more items. This will cost you a small amount of Dreamlight. It’s a simple change, but helpful for keeping things organized.
Garden of Whimsy Star Path
The new update also brings a new Star Path event called Garden of Whimsy. Just like before, you’ll get fun riddles to solve, and completing them will earn you cool rewards. We don’t know the exact number of duties yet, but expect plenty to keep you busy until the next update.
Wonderland Whimsy Release Date in DDV
The Wonderland Whimsy update is coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley on April 23. We don’t know the exact time yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as it’s announced.
