For a lot of gamers, September 2024 is a very big month. Releases such as Astro Bot, Starfield's Shattered Space DLC, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will keep plenty of players busy for a while. In between releases, however, the Epic Games Store still has a few goodies that fans may want to pick up to either kill time or try something new. These games rotate out every Thursday at 10 AM CT, so fans should most certainly see what other titles they can grab throughout this busy month. The two games coming up next as part of the promotion have already been revealed, with one title having a special perk to it that the storefront doesn't have often.
The current games available for free are Football Manager 2024, and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. The two games are rather different from each other, with one allowing players to create and manage their dream soccer teams and the other testing fans' abilities to perform as an elite marksman under tense conditions. If gamers are interested, they should pick up one or both of these titles before they're rotated off the Epic Game Store free games page. On September 13, the new freebies will be Super Crazy Rhythm Castle, and Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland.

Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland and Super Crazy Rhythm Castle Are Great For Sharing With a Friend
Super Crazy Rhythm Castle Explained
Rhythm games are part of a genre that doesn't get much spotlight, at least compared to other prominent experiences such as first-person shooters or party games. Some like Guitar Hero have been made rather infamous by how fun they can be with friends, and that appears to be what Super Crazy Rhythm Castle aims to offer players. Developed by Second Impact Games, Super Crazy Rhythm Castle combines what's to be expected from a rhythm game with action and adventure elements to create a puzzling co-op game with plenty of unexpected surprises.
Super Crazy Rhythm Castle focuses on the world outside a typical beat map, making players also have to deal with challenges like hands stopping the progress bar of the song going up or needing to clear the beat map of items to progress. It offers creative challenges not unlike what one might see in a platformer alongside the more musically inclined experience. Rhythm games aren't for everyone but Second Impact Games has kept that in mind by allowing the game to be easily split between a rhythm player and a puzzle-solving player if the team decides to take that approach. With all of Super Crazy Rhythm Castle's twists and turns, it might be one of 2023's hidden gems, with some outlets calling it one of the best party games released that year. Super Crazy Rhythm Castle also offers online multiplayer, making it a great freebie for even a long-distance group of friends to try out next week.
Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland Explained
What once began with a TV show in 1991, the Rugrats series is no stranger to video games. After having a few best-selling titles under its belt, a new Rugrats game is coming out on September 10. However, if PC players are willing to wait a few more days, they can pick up Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland for free on the Epic Games Store. The title sees Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil pretending that they're in a video game with the player helping them through their imaginative images.
It's not every day that the Epic Games Store offers a brand-new game for free so soon, so players who are interested should most certainly act on the deal while it's being offered. Adventures in Gameland has a distinguishing feature in that players can switch between HD artwork in the style of the original show, or 8-bit, NES-like graphics that are clearly inspired by classic games such as Mega Man. Just like Super Crazy Rhythm Castl e, Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland features couch co-op, so the fun can easily be shared with a friend if players wish to.
