Arcade Paradise is a game about converting a laundromat into an arcade. It features over 35 unique arcade games, as well as voice work by Doug Cockle, aka Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series. Arcade Paradise enjoyed a mostly positive critical reception when it was released in 2022, so Epic Games Store users should make a note to snag it for their digital libraries once it goes free on July 18.
The other Epic Games Store free game for the week of July 18 to July 25 wasn't nearly as well-received as Arcade Paradise, but it may still have its fans. Maid of Sker is a first-person horror game that launched in 2020 to mixed reviews. Even so, Maid of Sker proved popular enough to justify the successor game Sker Ritual, so horror fans may still want to check it out through the Epic Games Store regardless of its critical reception.
