How to Get Sand in Enshrouded

Sand is a valuable resource in Enshrouded that you will need in order to build bases and many items, such as Glass. However, you can only find sand in the Kindlewastes area, which is the final biome of the game.

Since the majority of this region consists of deserts and mountains, finding sand won’t be a problem. Besides, there's no specific spot to target for mining sand; using the pickaxe in any area will do. Just dig, and you'll have a handful of sand in no time.

However, it’s important to note that Kindlewastes is not unlocked by default. Players will need to upgrade their Flame Altar to level four to access this region. Furthermore, since it's the final biome, you must complete each previous biome in the correct order. Start with Ravelwood, then move on to Nomad Highlands, and then you’ll finally reach the Kindlewastes biome.

Once you've unlocked Kindlewastes and obtained a pickaxe, head to the desert area and start digging sand from the ground. Once you've gathered a sufficient amount of sand, you can use it to build a shelter at your base. This is where you can house all the craftspeople you’ve rescued.
