The world of Keen Games’ Enshrouded is covered in a ruinous fog called Shroud. But the fog isn’t your only concern, the Flameborn will also face many tough enemies on his journey. To survive in this dark world, players will need to collect advanced weapons and items, and one of them are Shroud Spores.
Shroud Spores are important for making many tools and materials in Enshrouded. They are the particles of energy that give the Shroud its corrupting power, and getting them is far from simple. If you want to know how to find Shroud Spores, read on to find out.
Enshrouded: Best Tank Build
Take on everything the Shroud throws at you with an Enshrouded tank build that makes you ridiculously hard to take down.
How to Get Shroud Spores in Enshrouded
Shroud Spores can be obtained by killing enemies in the Shroud zone, who drop these spores when defeated. However, the Shroud is poisonous, and only true fighters can survive. To begin, players will need to enter the Shroud, so open your map and travel to a Shrouded area. The Braelyn Bridge can be a good choice for beginners who don’t have advanced loot.
When you enter the Shroud, a timer starts. You can only stay for five minutes by default, or six minutes if you have upgraded your Flame Altar. Players will need to be quick because if they don’t leave in time, they could lose their lives. You can see the timer at the top center of the screen.
Next, players need to run around the Shroud area to find Shroud enemies. These blue zombie-like creatures are usually easy to deal with but don’t underestimate them. If you don’t kill them quickly, they can attack from all sides. Use any strong weapon, such as the Wailing Blade, to fight them off.
Once killed, they will drop one to three Shroud Spores that you can collect right away. If you want to get more spores, you can use some techniques to stay in the Shroud longer. For example, players can find items that release red smoke to reset the timer, use survival potions, or upgrade the Flame Altar. Furthermore, they can also leave and re-enter the shrouded area to restart the timer.
How to Use Shroud Spores in Enshrouded
Shroud Spores are used in many Enshrouded crafting recipes. With Shroud Spores, you can make handy tools like the Grappling Hook and Glider. In addition to that, you will need these spores to make Alchemical Base, Enshrouded Oil, and Shroud Core.
