Spells are an important part of your skill set in Enshrouded. Unlike melee combat, they let you deal damage from a distance and engage enemies safely. Spells usually need Staff Charges for each cast, like ammunition. Once you're out, you can't cast that spell until you get more. However, there’s a special category of spells called Eternal Spells that let you cast infinitely, as long as you have enough Mana in Enshrouded.

How To Get Eternal Spells in Enshrouded
To get Eternal Spells, you need to first unlock the Alchemist NPC in Enshrouded. He can be found in his pod in the Ancient Vault - Alchemist, found west of the Springlands. The Alchemist will give you a quest called "An Eternal Spell," which leads you to the Buried Tomb.
Inside the Buried Tomb, you'll go through a Shroud-filled dungeon, dealing with enemies and traps. Your goal is to find a sarcophagus containing your first Eternal Spell.
Before you head to the Buried Tomb, which is located northwest of the Low Meadows Ancient Spire, make sure you have the following items in your inventory:
- Pickaxes (2)
- Torch (1)
- Shroud Survival Flash (1+)
Once you've completed "An Eternal Spell" and progressed through the main story, the Alchemist's crafting menu will expand. You'll be able to craft other Eternal Spells under the "Ammo" section of his crafting interface. As you continue completing the Alchemist's quests and find new resources, you will unlock more Eternal Spell recipes over time.
While crafting is the primary method, some Eternal Spells can also be found directly within the game world. Make sure to thoroughly explore dangerous, higher-level areas, as these are the most likely places to drop Eternal spells.
All Eternal Spells in Enshrouded
As their name implies, Eternal Spells have infinite uses, unlike regular spell charges that deplete. However, there is a catch. Eternal Spells are slightly less powerful than a single, high-tier crafted spell charge, but the benefit of never running out of ammo is immense for any magic user.
