Forgotten Fauno Quest Guide In Enotria: The Last Song

Forgotten Fauno can be considered the first NPC player's encounter upon progressing in the third chapter of Enotria: The Last Song. He will be sitting next to a fire and can only be seen after defeating one of the area’s optional bosses.

To complete Forgotten Fauno’s quest in Enotria: The Last Song, the Maskless One must also advance in Maja’s quest. She is the Goddess of Life and Death and, similar to the Forgotten Fauno, Maja is also hidden behind an optional boss in the Monastery of Maja.

How To Trigger The Forgotten Fauno Quest In Enotria: The Last Song

To trigger the Forgotten Fauno quest in Enotria: The Last Song, defeat the Gran Paguro, Coastal Horror, to gain access to the character's location near the Old Docks Reality Knot. From the waypoint, proceed forward until you find a path to the left that leads to a Clocktower and a path that continues ahead. Choose the latter and defeat the dog enemy as it will follow you. Next, defeat the Gondolier enemy and use the nearby stairs to reach the lower levels. Players should encounter the Gran Paguro, Coastal Horror in this area.

The boss uses the same move sets repeatedly while inflicting Malanno/Sick in Enotria: The Last Song. So, parry the attacks and wait for an opportunity to deal damage. Once the boss is defeated, turn right and kill the two enemies to see Forgotten Fauno. Speak to him, and he will mention Maja over and over again. So, the next step is to find Maja.

Where To Find Maja In Enotria: The Last Song

Maja is located in a hidden area called the Old Sanctuary. It's accessible from the Crimson Cloister in Enotria: The Last Song. To reach Maja’s location, players must first defeat Zanni, the First Mask and unlock the Theater of the Masks hub. Keep exploring the safe space until you stumble upon a dark room filled with plants and pick up the Sacrificial Knife. The next step is to progress through the Monastery of Maja until the Maskless One reaches the Crimson Cloister and defeats Vermiglio, the Red Prior.

Approach Maja’s statue in the room and travel to the Old Sanctuary to defeat Maja, Goddess of Life and Death. Once Maja is defeated, players can find her in the dark room inside the hub in Enotria: The Last Song. Return to the Forgotten Fauno, and he will give players Fauno’s Mask in addition to the Key to the Sunken Monastery, and ask them to find the Seed and give it to Maja.
