To progress through Enotria: The Last Song story without any bosses or enemies giving you trouble, you have to understand the game’s Elements and Status Effect. There are four different Elements in the game, each having an advantage over the other, creating balanced combat mechanics.
Elements can apply debuffs on enemies, which further helps clear their areas faster. However, keep in mind that Status Effects don't only debuff the affected person, but may also grant a positive effect. Here's a guide about all Elemental Status Effects in Enotria: The Last Song and what they do.
Enotria: The Last Song - All Stats Explained
It's crucial to understand the stats in Enotria: The Last Song to increase the chances of survival while exploring the game.
All Status Effects In Enotria: The Last Song
Each time you or your enemies land an Elemental attack, it will start building a Status Effect. Once that Status Effect meter is complete, you or the enemy will be afflicted with that Status Effect.
Dizzy
|
Element |
Vis |
|---|---|
|
Effect |
Reduce DEF, but increase damage and Stamina regeneration |
You trigger Dizzy on enemies when you hit them with weapons infused with Vis. While it increases their damage, it also notably reduces their defense, which opens a window to deal as much damage as possible. You can also trigger Dizzy on yourself by using a specific Item. During that time, you also have your damage increased alongside your Stamina regenerating much faster. On the other hand, you also suffer from the defense reduction that comes with the Dizzy Effects Status in Enotria: The Last Song.
Wicked
|
Element |
Fatuo |
|---|---|
|
Effect |
Enhance Elemental damage, but getting hit heals your opponent |
You trigger Wicked on enemies when your attacks and thrown items deal Fatuo damage. During that state, the enemy's Elemental damage is enhanced. However, your hits also heal you, which creates a situation where aggressiveness is more favorable. If you’re looking to maximize your Elemental damage, then use an item that inflicts Wicked on your character. This method is super effective as long the enemy is not hitting you, or they’ll also regain HP and that will make them harder to take down.
Radiant
|
Element |
Gratia |
|---|---|
|
Effect |
Recover HP over time, but getting hit will inflict explosion damage |
You trigger Radiant on enemies when you hit them with items and weapons infused with Gratia. When you trigger Radiant, enemies start recovering HP over time. However, once you land a hit on them, they’ll explode and cause massive damage. If you’re near the explosion, it will knock you back from the impact.
You can also trigger Radiant on yourself, which will also heal you over time. But, as not everything is perfect, once you get hit, you’ll trigger an explosion that will hurt you.
Sick
|
Element |
Malanno |
|---|---|
|
Effect |
Lose HP slowly, but nearby units also lose HP |
You trigger Sick when you keep hitting enemies with items and weapons infused with Malanno. During the duration when enemies are Sick, they constantly lose HP like Poison in Elden Ring. Triggering Sick on your character turns them into a walking killing machine. Your character will start dealing damage over time to any enemy close to them.
