How to Get More Heroes

In Endless Legend, the heroes are specialized characters who play crucial roles in your government, such as managing your cities, overseeing the army, or spying on enemies. Each hero has unique skills tailored to their specific function, and as they gain experience, they can learn new abilities to become even more effective.

At the start of the game, each empire is given one hero, but you can also earn additional heroes by purchasing from the Marketplace or completing quests.

How to Get Heroes from the Marketplace

In order to get heroes through the Marketplace, you need to research the Era I technology called Mercenary Market. This unlocks the Units and Heroes sections of the Marketplace. You can access the Marketplace by clicking the button situated between the Diplomacy screen button and the Espionage screen button.

Once in the Marketplace, navigate to the Heroes section. There will typically be a roster of 10 heroes available for purchase, with new heroes appearing approximately every 10 turns. Among these, two to three heroes will be exclusive to you for a limited time (usually 15 turns), meaning only you can purchase them during this period.

Select the hero you want to buy and complete the purchase. Purchased heroes are sent to the Academy, where you can assign them roles as Governors, Generals, or Spies.

Make sure to keep checking back as the available heroes will refresh periodically, giving you more opportunities to find heroes that suit your needs.

How to Get Heroes Through Quests

You can also acquire heroes by completing specific quests in the game. Each faction has a main quest line that starts after you find your first city, and finishing these quests can sometimes give you heroes. However, getting heroes from quests is less common than buying them from the Marketplace.
