At today's Stadia Connect event, the Google developer announced a number of games and updates that will come to Stadia later this year, including  The Elder Scrolls Online: Stonethorn  expansion pack.

The Elder Scrolls Online  massive multiplayer's most recent DLC package was Greymoor, which released just last month. And despite the large update coming so recently, ESO is already planning on releasing another DLC package next month called Stonethorn, which will add on to the "Dark Heart of Skyrim" storylines, according to the ESO website. It will bring along two new dungeons for players to explore and will build upon the tales from the previously released Harrowstorm  and Greymoor chapters.

ESO  came to Stadia last month, and lucky for Stadia users, they won't have to wait very long to get the Stonethorn  DLC because it will be coming to Google's gaming service on August 24th—just a little more than a month away. ESO  is the first platform's streaming MMO, and even supports crossplay, meaning players will be able to switch between their PC and Stadia whenever they please.

Another big feature coming with the Stonethorn  DLC in addition to the new gameplay content and collectibles in the option for Character Pathing. Way back in Skyrim  daysThe Elder Scrolls  series began exploring home building with its Hearthstone  DLC release that enabled players to build houses completely from scratch. In ESO,  it began dabbling in sandbox gaming a little further with its thirteenth update known as Homestead.  Forty different house types became available to players, in both furnished and unfurnished versions.

With the Stonethorn  update, players will be able to enhance their home life a little bit further with the Character Pathing addition. Players can build paths for their residents, including pets, mounts, and assistants, to follow. By utilizing nodes, players will be able to specify locations for each path and even pick walk speed, add delays, and decide if they want the characters to loop or not. All of this will allow players' homes to have a little more livelihood and feel a bit more lived-in than before.

Earlier this year, gamers were concerned that Stadia had a weak game lineup, but thanks to the Stadia Connect press conference, several games were announced to be coming to the platform. Big AAA titles like the upcoming Far Cry 6 will be available to Stadia users with their anticipated releases.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Stonethorn  expansion will be available on August 24th for Stadia.
