It would seem that the update, which was released on June 11, has caused some issues when players try to load the game. One person playing through Game Pass on PC claimed that they reinstalled the title and even tried reloading from a previous save, but nothing worked. The fan said that they were close to reaching 100% completion in Bethesda's popular RPG, but that the technical issues may cause them to just move on from it. One person playing on PlayStation 5 said that their game crashed three times, but they were finally able to get it working again.

In a recent post on Reddit, dikkidy shared an image of a Nether Lich that had been defeated in combat. The screenshot showed the Nether Lich with one bare foot and one foot with a boot on it. Curiously, the booted foot appears to have a rubber sole. In the description of the post, dikkidy pointed out that rubber soles didn't exist in medieval times and don't exist in the Elder Scrolls at all. One person in the comments did mention that the boot could have been crafted from carved or molded leather. Since its release, fans have been posting funny observations they've made while playing The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, like one person who shared an image of an NPC holding the wrong side of a torch.
