When they get here, they will join the Mages Guild and then head to the living quarters by going down the stairs to the left of the desk. Here they will find some Glow Dust sitting on a desk with other materials.

There are other Mage Guilds players can find in other cities, but neither of them have Glow Dust.

This is the simplest method of getting your hands on some Glow Dust. It is fast, free, and does not require fighting any monsters, hoping you get some as a dropped item. However, this is only a one-time deal, and players needing more of this material will need to use one of the methods listed below.

Both of these locations can be found in the Imperial City Market District. The Imperial City is one of the first cities players can get to. Another vendor to consider in this same area is Calindil at the Mystic Emporium. However, players will have to raise their Mercantile skill before they can buy the Glow Dust from him.

Players will be able to get Glow Dust drops from enemies known as Will-O-the-Wisps. This will let them save all their money on other items. Will-O-the-Wisps are not like your average goblin and are particularly resistant to physical attacks. Players will need to either use magic or a special weapon that can deal magical damage.

Where to Find Will-O-the-Wisps

Players can encounter these enemies at night while in the Swampy Cave area of the map. If players do not yet have the means of fighting these enemies, they should visit some of the Mages Guild and speak with the NPCs inside. This is a great way to get some entry-level spells.
