Where to Get Cyrodilic Brandy in Oblivion Remastered

If players want to commune with the Daedric Prince, Sanguine, they are going to need to find Cyrodilic Brandy in Oblivion Remastered.

Helping Sanguine isn't going to be easy, and the chaos it causes might have some players scratching their heads and clawing for an escape. Luckily, this Oblivion Remastered guide will provide them with the assistance they need to claim the Sanguine Rose and live to see another day in Cyrodiil.

Where to Find Sanguine's Shrine in Oblivion Remastered

The Shrine of Sanguine can be found in the north region of Skingrad, just before The Imperial Reserve on the map. Once players reach the Shrine of Sanguine, they will need to wait until they are Level 8 to obtain the quest. The next step involves placing a bottle of Cyrodilic Brandy on the altar of Sanguine, and this can be obtained rather easily from The Main Ingredient, a store in the Imperial City Market District, for around 130 Gold.

Once players have reached the necessary level and placed the bottle of Cyrodilic Brandy, they will be able to commune with Sanguine, who tasks them with accessing the Countess' party within Castle Leyawiin.

There is no time limit on the party, and players can complete the next step at any time.

How to Get into the Leyawiin Party in Oblivion Remastered

To access the Countess' Party inside Castle Leyawiin, players will need to wait until it's after 6 PM and before midnight. There are two ways to enter the party, and each of them can be found below:

  • Loot or purchase the Blue Velvet Outfit from the Divine Elegance store in the Imperial City's Market District and then equip it. Players must wear the Blue Velvet Outfit, with no armor, weapons, or shields, but perhaps with jewelry, and then speak to the Leyawiin Guard, who will let players inside because they're dressed well.
  • Speak to the Leywaiin Guard after 6 PM and with the Persuasion Wheel, raise his Disposition to 70+ through Disposition or bribes. Doing so will turn him friendly, and he will allow players to enter the party.

Once players are inside the party, it's a good idea to create a save file in case things go wrong in the next step.

How to Use the Stark Reality Spell in Oblivion Remastered

Now that players are inside the party, they are going to want to locate Countess Alessia Caro, who is usually sitting at the head of the dinner table. After finding Countess Alessia Caro, noted by her green dress, players can enter their inventory screen and head over to the magic tab, where in their target spells, they will be able to equip Stark Reality. Players will want to look at Countess Alessia Caro and press the Cast Spell button (C/RB/R1). Doing so will impact all the party guests, removing their clothes (except their undergarments) and causing them all to become hostile. Be warned, using this spell will also cause the player to lose their clothes and all other possessions that they own.

All of the player's items and gold will be returned in the final step of this quest.

How to Escape the Leyawiin Party in Oblivion Remastered

Now that players have used the Stark Reality spell, players are going to be in a lot of trouble. The spell itself is harmless, but it has the Drain Health on Target for 1 HP effect that counts as an assault. As such, guards will rush towards the player to try to arrest them or make them pay their bounty. However, since players used the spell, they have no items and cannot pay off the bribe. It's at this point where players have two options: run for their lives or surrender.

While players can run out of the Leyawiin Castle and take an immediate right to exit Leyawiin and run from the guards, the enemy AI is extremely hostile. As such, it's for the best if players submit and go to jail, as they will just have to sleep in the bed provided. Even though players might lose 1 point in specific skills, it's far better than wasting time running away from unrelenting pursuers and having to return to pay a bounty.

How to Get Sanguine Rose in Oblivion Remastered

Now that players have escaped the Leyawiin Guards or left the prison, they can return to the Shrine of Sanguine to report on a successful mission. Upon speaking with Sanguine, they will be rewarded with the Sanguine Rose, and all of the player's possessions will be placed inside a chest by a wooden bench close to the altar of Sanguine.

Sanguine Rose is a two-handed staff that, when fired, will spawn a random Daedra that will be sent in to attack whoever was targeted. Do be careful, though, as the Daedra may become randomly hostile to the player once the target is defeated, but the Daedra will despawn after 20 seconds.
