Molag Bal's Shrine Location in Oblivion Remastered
The Shrine of Molag Bal can be found just west of the Imperial City past the stables, and in the south region of Chorrol. Once players are here, they will be able to start the quest as soon as they reach Level 17 and bring a Lion Pelt as an offering. If players do not have a Lion Pelt to give, then they can find mountain lions in the Red Ring Road region in the north area of the Imperial City, and upon looting their corpses, players can grab the Lion Pelt. After offering the Lion Pelt to Molag Bal's Shrine, his Daedra quest will begin.
How to Make Melus Petilius Violent in Oblivion Remastered
Molag Bal provides players with a
Cursed Mace, which is nothing special in itself but is used as a quest item. Players will want to travel to Brindle Home to find Melus Petilius, and the objective here is to make him kill you with the Cursed Mace. The only catch is that Melus Petilius is a paladin who has sworn against violence, but there's a way to make sure that he reverts to his old ways and starts a fight with the player.
Head down the road from Brindle Home to find Melus Petilius's House. To the right of this small cabin is the grave of Melus's dead wife, Vena Petilius. Players will need to head into their inventory and drop the Cursed Mace in front of the grave of Vena Petilius, and then wait for Melus to arrive and mourn her at 11 AM. Once Melus is at the grave, attack him to provoke him, but be sure not to kill him. Enraged at the attack on his wife's grave, Melus will pick up the Cursed Mace and attack the player, but it's important that players do not resist. Let Melus kill you, and you will be teleported back to the Shrine of Molag Bal before the final blow.
How to Get the Mace of Molag Bal in Oblivion Remastered
As soon as players are teleported back to Molag Bal's Shrine, go to his statue and speak with him. Molag Bal will announce that the player has done a good deed for him, and as a reward, they will find the
