Open world games often suffer from a lack of content within their open worlds, the large forests, fields, and mountains feeling hollow and empty at times. The large empty spaces highlight the lack of content rather than supplementing the gameplay. However, Oblivion Remastered has plenty of things to populate its map and keep your sense of exploration alive. Heaven stones are one such map-filling landmark, but they are more useful than one might first think.
Oblivion Remastered: Best Items To Duplicate
Duplicating items in Oblivion Remastered can have players feeling a greater sense of freedom to explore their options.
What Are Heaven Stones in Oblivion Remastered?
Heaven Stones are one of the best ways to dramatically increase your power in Oblivion Remastered without spending a lot of time, as long as you meet the required prerequisites. These obelisks are Doom Stones, a type of monument that gives the player great powers when they interact with these stones.
You can only use the Heaven Stones at night when the stars are out. If you attempt to use it outside that time, it will give a message: "No stars shine upon the Doomstone."
The best part is that their powers can stack with one another, meaning you don’t have to pick and choose between the spells that different Heaven Stones grant, you can just get them all. However, there are a few caveats. Firstly, not everyone can gain the power from these stones. You need to meet certain Renown requirements (Fame + Infamy) to be eligible. Additionally, you can only use the spells you gain from these stones once per day.
You can instantly get 100 Infamy by equipping the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal from the Thieves Guild quest.
