All Black Soul Gems Locations in Oblivion Remastered
Players can create their own Black Soul Gems in Oblivion Remastered, but to do so, they will need a Grand Soul Gem. Grand Soul Gems can be purchased from Aurelinwae at the Mystic Emporium in the Imperial Market District, as well as from the Mages Guild Halls. Alternatively, some can be found throughout the Chorrol Mages Guild Hall and the Arcane University, locked behind display cases.
Grand Soul Gems can be transformed into Black Soul Gems, but to do so, players must take the Grand Soul Gem to an altar at any of the four locations listed below, during a Day of the Revenant Shade:
|
Location |
Where to Find |
|---|---|
|
Dark Fissure |
South east of Cheydinhal by the Road River |
|
Fort Istirus |
East of Kvatch |
|
Fort Linchal |
Northeast of Kvatch |
|
Wendelbek |
By the Panther River |
At each of these locations, players will find a white altar with a red cloth, and now they have to wait until it's a shade of the Revenant day. Players will note if it's a shade of the Revenant as it's in intervals of 8 days, and will show a purple light in the sky. During a Shade of the Revenant day, place the Grand Soul Gem in the altar, and once the purple light shines over it, cast a Soul Trap spell on the altar. Now, inside the altar, there will be an empty Black Soul Gem.
All Shades of the Revenant Days in Oblivion Remastered
