A new term has been going viral on the Elden Ring subreddit and other forums on social media. It all started with a Polish player posting a picture of them defeating Radahn in Elden Ring, and it had the phrase "Zabito Boga" mentioned on the screen. While it was a totally normal screenshot, fans seem to have found the phrase quite catchy, and it instantly became viral on social media. Fans have been making all sorts of posts around the phrase, and it seems like it has become the new "Praise the Sun" for the Soulsborne community.

What Does Zabito Boga Mean?

While it has become extremely popular, "Zabito Boga" is just a simple translation of one of the most commonly seen phrases in the game. "Zabito Boga" is actually "God Slain" in Polish, which is the message that is shown on screen after players beat Radahn and several other bosses in Elden Ring. However, since the term is quite catchy, fans have been using it to wish each other "Zabito Boga," which is basically an Elden Ring way of greeting players who defeated Radahn and completed the game.

The developers haven't shied away from acknowledging this term either. Bandai Namco posted a tweet stating "ZABITO BOGA to all who celebrate." Fans are having an absolute field day with how quickly a joke became viral. That being said, the community has been privy to such instances in the past. The phrase "Praise the Sun" from Dark Souls not only became a sensation in the Soulsborne community but also the gaming industry as a whole. Not to forget, the iconic death screen from the Dark Souls games is also a well-known meme. With Elden Ring: Nightrein the next game on the radar, it will be interesting to see what other phrases the community comes up with.
