Elden Ring's massive world can have players fighting for their lives to find items or weapons that suit them or their build. Daggers are generally swift weapons that deal less damage than normal swords, but because of their quick attack speed, they can pose a great threat.
The meticulously crafted world of Elden Ring, also known as The Lands Between, has a habit of making items hard to acquire. The Scorpion's Stinger is also a dagger that is acquired later in the game and has a few prerequisites that the player must complete first.
Elden Ring: 20 Weapons That Can Melt Boss Health Bars
Some of the best weapons in Elden Ring can scale high enough to make defeating even the late-game bosses feel like a walk in the park.
Where To Find Scorpion's Stinger
Acquiring the Scorpion's Stinger is no easy task. This is because reaching the area where the weapon is located can take time on its own. The weapon is located inside the Grand Cloister near the Lake of Rot in Ainsel River Main. Taking the lift down to Ainsel River from Liurnia of the Lakes does not grant access to the Lake of Rot.
To reach Ainsel River, the player must follow Ranni's questline to be able to go through the portal. The alternative route is to take the multiple coffin rides situated in different underground areas and reach Ainsel River Main. Once in Ainsel River, head to the Lake of Rot through Nokstella, Eternal City.
The aim is to reach the Grand Cloister, which is on the other side of the Lake of Rot. A player can either carefully navigate the Scarlet Rot and activate all switches, or you can simply run all the way across while healing yourself with Flasks or Incantations. There is a Site of Grace at the Grand Cloister, so you will be able to rest and reset the Scarlet Rot build-up.
Upon reaching the Grand Cloister, your objective will be to head down and west towards the building in the distance. Be mindful of the Kindred of Rot enemies in the area, as there are quite a lot of them. Upon reaching the building, head inside, and you will find a chest, inside which is the Scorpion's Stinger.

Elden Ring: How to Get Morgott's Cursed Sword
Morgott's Cursed Sword is a powerful weapon in Elden Ring since it can inflict Blood Loss on your enemies, and here we'll tell you how to get it.
What Does The Scorpion's Stinger Do?
- The weapon requires 6 Strength and 12 Dexterity to use.
The Scorpion's Stinger is quite a useful dagger, mainly because of its passive effect, which causes Scarlet Rot build-up by 50. Getting one for each hand does require multiple playthroughs, but once acquired, they can cause double the build-up. This is a quick weapon thanks to the Repeating Thrust skill, which allows you to strike the enemy multiple times in a fluent motion.
The weapon requires Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade, and at max level, it has a B scaling with Dexterity and D scaling with Strength. Its scaling with Strength does not change throughout levels, subtly hinting at the player to put more points in Dexterity for maximum damage output.
